In car world, they call this a ‘minor change’ but the new-look Suzuki S-Cross needed a complete creative overhaul. We set the angle to highlight the car’s fresh face while immersing potential buyers in the S-Cross lifestyle. CG work was optimized for combination with real-world shots for stills and video. Shooting across Spain and Japan took advanced collaboration during the COVID-19 pandemic, which also instigated Suzuki’s first-ever online launch, all pioneered by us.

CG制作が定着していくなか、将来ロケーション撮影は無くなるのか?

CG is cool but it can’t do everything. Firstly, putting your editor in a muddy field is funny. And more importantly, when they fix the framing on-location it saves everyone time and money. Sure, it runs up airmiles and maybe you have to buy a few lunches, but in the long run, it’s still cheaper and faster to go somewhere and see with your own eyes the way the tire hits the road.
